Lithium Dosage #1: please un-stuck me

In my attempt to be dynamic with this blog's content, I add another series that I cannot maintain consistently: the Lithium Dosage series. This would be the fiftieth series in this blog, so at this point, I am getting confused with all the shtick I'm posting. For the sake of clarity, let me do a little recap:
  • Film review series (under Watch) - I review films here
  • Anime review series (under Watch) - I review anime here (and I haven't posted any in this category)
  • TV Series review series (also under Watch) - I review TV series here (also zero posts here)
  • Manga review series (under Read) - I review manga here
  • Comics review series (under Read) - I review comics here (no posts as of yet)
  • Book review series (obviously under Read) - I review books here
  • Game review series (under Play; probably the only series under Play) - I review video games here
  • Album review series (under Listen) - I review albums here (I am drafting the first post at the moment)

That's the entire review series. Here are other series I plan to do in the near future:
  • Article Digest series (under Others probably) - I do a reflection essay for an academic paper here. This would be my semi-academic thinking and writing outlet in this blog. I thought of this series mainly to have myself start the habit of reading academic papers regularly. Why this particular hassle? I graduated with a degree on Social Sciences, and thus I was trained to be an academe person. I soon realized that I can't be one because I was never that good in school. To convince myself that my education is relevant, I will post my frustrations on this blog. Sounds pretty healthy, if you ask me.
  • Skipped Prescription series (under Others fo sho) - A sarcastic article regarding a particular issue or trend that I would be probably annoyed. I thought of this series because I am easily irritated with mundane things, but I don't come to terms with my irritation--I become passive-aggressively creative instead.
  • Lithium Dosage series (under Others as well) - This is the first post of this series. Lithium Dosage is basically my fancy title for a boring, unstructured, and typical blog in its truest sense. Meaning, I'll be rattling on and on without direction nor goal.
  • Some poetry series I haven't got the title yet - For lame poetry. I used to be engaged pretty heavily with poetry until I stopped half a decade ago.
Clean. With all of these planned, why am I not getting to work to produce some consistent content over the months? It's two parts "I'm actually busy," and thirteen parts "I can't write for shit, let me just binge on some more media."

And so, I am writing this post as a wake up call for myself. I need to un-stuck myself from laziness. I want to be consistent with my content. I'm not sure why I was motivated enough to begin this blog, but I want to be determined to keep the snowball rolling. I need to un-stuck the snowball from its rut. I wanna make an avalanche. I want to live for this.

That said, I want to try living a little bit differently to make enough time for content production. For now, I have two life adjustments: 1. Stop spending so much time in social media and interacting with people, and 2. Spend more time thinking rather than staring--keep my mind active throughout the day. Hopefully, this would get the steam rolling for me.

The problem at the fore is that I've consumed so much media that needs to be reviewed. As of now, I have read two academic articles that I haven't Article Digest-ed yet; I've listened to four or five albums; I've watched the best movie I've ever watched in a while (you know what this is); I'm almost at the 100th episode of an anime series; I'm also nearly at the 100th issue of a comics series; I am two bosses away from finishing the best game I've ever played. I want to review all of these, man. Looking at them now, it feels impossible to finish. Despite this, I challenge myself to finish reviews for these before June ends. Bold, but intriguing. This might just get me going.

Alright, that should conclude LD#1.
